Refund Policy

Who is responsible for refunds and how eligible platform-fee requests are reviewed.

Effective date: 29 September 2026

1.Two different types of payment

This policy separates fees paid by a merchant to ITFair Pay for software access from payments made by a customer directly to a merchant. ITFair Pay does not hold or control customer funds and therefore cannot reverse or refund a merchant's customer payment.

2.Customer payments to merchants

Customers seeking a refund for goods or services must contact the merchant shown on the payment page. The merchant is solely responsible for its refund, return, cancellation and dispute policy and for sending any approved refund from its own bank, MFS or other account. A payment status shown by ITFair Pay is not a promise that a refund is available.

3.Software subscriptions and fees

Unless an order form states otherwise, a new paid subscription may be cancelled and a refund requested within 7 calendar days of the first charge if the paid features have not been materially used. Renewal fees, setup work, custom development, consumed usage, downloaded custom deliverables and third-party costs are normally non-refundable except where required by law or caused by a verified duplicate charge or our billing error.

4.How to request a platform-fee refund

Email info@itfair.bd from the registered account with the business name, invoice or payment reference, payment date, amount and reason. Do not send passwords, PINs or OTPs. We may request evidence and will communicate the decision after review. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment source where practical; provider processing times may apply.

5.Chargebacks, reversals and account closure

A bank or provider may reverse a transaction under its own rules. Merchants remain responsible for negative balances, fees, customer disputes and evidence requested by their provider. Closing an ITFair Pay account does not automatically create a refund or remove outstanding obligations, legal holds or retained records.

Important legal notice

These policies describe how the service is operated; they are not a claim of regulatory approval. Before public launch, have them reviewed by a qualified lawyer in Bangladesh for your exact business model.
